If you really like running Chaos Chambers, these DLCs do offer more variety to that.
A change of pace would have been a warm welcome. The Mirrors of Mystery are designed to introduce more players into the end game content, however, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ end game content is all about Chaos Chambers and the first two PLCs definitely feel like more Chaos Chambers. However, the amount of stuff you can actually do isn’t there. Gearbox Software and 2K Games probably want to justify the price as the content is designed as highly replayable and that is something you will need to do in order to obtain all the new items that come with each DLC. Hardcore players would have seen them as nice snackable content when they are waiting on the big content release. If these post-launch content drops were like $5 a piece, I think it would have lowered the communities expectations. You can run these TTWL DLCs in under 10 minutes. You are paying $10 and basically get 6 small areas, while with previous Borderlands titles you would get a whole 6-hour story campaign. I think the main reason why the Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands PLCs get so much pushback is its price point. This makes the content feel cheap and that’s not the case. The content looks great, there are really beautiful designed locations in these DLCs, but some objectives aren’t all that interesting making the area feel lackluster.

It has all your essentials to jump into each of the DLC mirrors. The DLC hub town, Dreamveil Overlook, looks great and is covered with mystery. Gearbox Software did a lot of cosmetic items so if you like to dive into the character creator these DLCs will offer you plenty of items to work with. I think your purchase decision shouldn’t depend on a few extra items but I see the FOMO here. If Gearbox Software released the game with cool characters I would have been fine. Cosmetics are nice if you are really into them, however, I’m not one of those people. Let’s tick this one off at the beginning. Now that all the DLCs have been released, let’s look at the overall package and if it’s worth your hard-earned money. The Season Pass provides 4 Mirrors of Mystery,1 new playable class, and exclusive cosmetic items. Gearbox Software and 2K Games released a Season Pass for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands alongside the game which was also included if you purchased the Chaotic Great Edition.
